About Us

Dr. Dennis F. Howard is a lifelong resident of Virginia Beach. Dennis graduated from First Colonial High School in 1969. He attended Old Dominion University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachlor of Science degree in Biology in 1975. He then attended the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 1979. Dr. Howard is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Colleagues of Comprehensive Care Study Group, and the Surfrider Foundation. Dennis is married to Carolyn Day, and they have two children. Devan is now a graduate student in Occupational Therapy at VCU in Richmond, Virginia and Logan attends the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. Dr. Howard is an avid surfer, snowboarder and tennis player.

Dr. Allen Hardin White, III, also known as "Trey", was born and raised in Virginia Beach. He attended Hampden Sydney College for his undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. White then attended the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He is a member of the Seattle Study Club, on the Advisory board for the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center, the Youth Foundation Club of Virginia Beach and The Robin Hoods of Virginia Beach. He was recently named to "Top 40 Under 40" by Inside Business Magazine. Dr. White also cares for patients at Sentara Nursing Center in Virginia Beach and Beth Sholom Home of Eastern Virginia. He, his wife Elissa, and two children, Katie & Grayson, live in Virginia Beach. He enjoys surfing, fishing and walking on the beach with their dog, "Molly".

Dr. Stewart W. Pharr (Whit) is a Virginia Beach native.  After graduating from Cox High School in 1998, Dr. Pharr did his undergraduate studies at The College of Charleston.  He then attended the Medical University of South Carolina, which is also in Charleston, South Carolina.  Upon returning to the Beach, he joined Oceanfront Dentistry to practice. Dr. Pharr is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, The Virginia Beach Noblemen, and The Surf Rider Foundation.  He also volunteers with the Norfolk Red Cross’ Dental Facility on a regular basis.  In his free time, he enjoys surfing, fishing or playing tennis.
